The $67 billion merger between AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T - message board) and BellSouth Corp. (NYSE: BLS - message board) will drive convergence between the companies' wireline businesses and Cingular Wireless LLC , the largest cellular operator in the U.S., the firms said on a conference call this morning.
